We are currently hiring Web Development Team Leader to manage a team of talented designers and developers. With a strong leadership and technical background you will act as a subject matter expert for development and web technologies, ensuring that there is a greater focus on user experience and journey creating solutions that are both fit for purpose, designed, developed and architected in line with the existing and future technology landscape as well as fully tested and supported. This is a technical line-management role for someone wanting to stay at least partly hands-on with the code. You will either have previous line management experience, or be a senior developer looking to move into management. You will work as the team lead of one of our development teams, where you will be responsible for ensuring that your team are able to meet business and technical requirements with solutions that are high performance, scalable, robust, and built in accordance with modern development practices. You will provide technical leadership to your team and, with the other team leads, will be responsible for setting and representing the technical standards used throughout the department.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing and building mobile applications for Apples iOS platform.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
• Ensuring quality and performance of application to specifications.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
• Fixing application bugs before final release.
• Publishing application on App Store.
• Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
• Designing and implementing application updates.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as an app developer.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.
• Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
• Knowledge of Apples design principals and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
• Knowledge of C-based libraries.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
• Experience with continuous integration.
